The difference is that what was then ascribed to Yhwh is now ascribed to the prophet/people clothed by Yhwh. This is another example of the mediatory or sacramental role that the prophet, the people, and the city of Jerusalem play in Trito-Isaiah’s theology. At the beginning of the Trito-Isaian core, Yhwh’s light shone upon Jerusalem so that she herself might be a light to nations and kings (Isa 60:1–2).
